Twin Smokers Bbq: Reviews & Ratings
We rolled up to Twin Smokers BBQ at about 4:45 on a Monday evening, stomachs ready and spirits high. Stepped inside, waited by the door like well‑trained diners, and a family of eight filed in right behind us. After about five minutes of standing there looking like we were auditioning for a “Please Seat Yourself” sign, we finally asked if we could just grab a table. The place was nearly empty—two occupied tables, the rest wide open like a BBQ oasis. That’s when we got the news: only two racks of ribs and twenty wings left for the entire evening. And the table of eight already seated hadn’t even ordered yet. At that point, the math wasn’t mathing in our favor, so we made the tough call to head down the street. Here’s the thing: the place looks legit. Smokers out front, stacks of seasoned wood on display, the whole “we take our meat seriously” vibe. Unfortunately, they were already out of food before the dinner crowd even clocked in. Yes, it’s Christmas week—but Christmas wasn’t until Thursday, so this felt a little early for the Great Rib Shortage of 2025. Still, I get it. Real BBQ is an art, not a microwave button. You smoke what you smoke, and when it’s gone, it’s gone. Any respectable pitmaster won’t serve yesterday’s leftovers, and honestly, I respect that. My advice? If you’re traveling any distance or your heart is set on ribs, give them a call first. No one wants to show up hungry and leave with nothing but the smell of brisket dreams. Disappointed? Sure. Angry? Not at all. BBQ happens. #BBQAdventures #FoodieLife #RibQuest #SmokedOut #AtlantaEats
Stopped in for an early lunch on a Sunday. We got the cornbread, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork sandwich. The sides were definitely a star - we all thoroughly enjoyed the mac&cheese, collard greens, cornbread, and the pork rinds were an added bonus! The meat was good, but sauces were even better. We were met with quick & friendly service, although it was relatively empty when we arrived. Tasty bbq option if you are in the area.
Had a combo 2 - brisket and ribs...with charro beans and potato salad. All excellent. Bourbon fans can try a 4-pour flight of premium Old Forester Bourbon. A little sip goes down well with that barbecue. The service was impeccable. Music a little loud for tables looking to converse - my only downside.
I came here twice and was not disappointed! I attempted to come a third time, but they were out of all BBQ for the day. I definitely recommend coming early. When I came around noon everything was available, around 4pm everything except the dinosaur rib was available, and 6pm they were out of everything and I had to find another place for dinner. I had the combo plate (2 meats and 2 sides) both times. they have pork cracklins available after you sit down as well. the first I had the beef brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato souffle (seasonal). the brisket and Mac and cheese were amazing. the pulled pork was just okay, needed sauce as some parts were drier. the sweet potato souffle was good, basically a mashed sweet potato, but very sweet and had nuts in it, which were an odd texture against the mashed potato. I also had their hard cider, which was good. the second time I had the beef brisket, pork ribs, and double Mac and cheese. no notes, this was all amazing. the service was amazing both times I was able to get in, and I didn't have any wait times when I came in for lunch or early dinner. when I was leaving dinner it was fairly full, so again, come in early.
The absolute best BBQ I ever had. The brisket melts in your mouth, the ribs are smoked, juicy and tender... Mac and Chesse it's a whole experience on it's own. Damn good BBQ!
What an extraordinary place. The ambiance, the music, the atmosphere, the décor — everything is amazing. And the most outstanding part of all is the food. We ordered the smoked wings, and they were absolutely incredible. They serve complimentary house-made chicharrones as a starter — so good! The brisket was tender and delicious, without being overly sweet. And the turkey breast was perfectly juicy and packed with amazing flavor. And our server, Rachel, was fantastic!
I was missing great bbq and stumbled upon Twin Smokers and immediately got excited. Entering it has the look and feel of a legit bbq restaurant. I was alone for lunch so I ate at the bar, and ordered a coke and two meat meal (turkey, brisket, mac n cheese, brisket chili, and bread). The meats weren’t hot and barely warm, the mac n cheese wasn’t cheesy and had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for a while and was dried out; the bread wasn’t great and the amazing bartender switched it with corn bread (with some butter is great) and the end was the brisket chili. The chili was light on brisket however the best thing i tried! Overall the atmosphere and the service from the bartender definitely saves this place from the okay food (not including the corn bread and chili). I would try again and hope the kitchen were just having an off day for lunch
Excellent place for a BBQ. The Bourbon drinks are quite good. Service is excellent and staff is ready to serve with a smile. Meat is good as per my non vegetarian friends. I had potato salad and mac n cheese. Both are recommended for a vegetarian diet.
